John Maucere — who signed “America the Beautiful” and the national anthem at the big game — was out in L.A. yesterday with his interpreter when we asked how important it is to take care of your hands as a professional sign language-er.

If you were watching the beginning of the Super Bowl last night you might have noticed the very tan/orange, slick sign language interpreter. This guy looks like a total cheese ball but you could definitely tell he loves his job.

Last nights interpreter was John Maucere, who signed “America Beautiful” sang by the Jennifer Hudson and the Sandy Hook School elementary Choir, and “The Star Spangled Banner” sang by Alicia Keys. If anyone saw this guy they would see he had more emotion in him than any of the singers. Maucere rocks at his job. I don’t think anyone could of done it better.

Forget about all the players, the commercials, the Beyoncé, because John Maucere is already the best part of the Super Bowl. Maucere was on hand to sign the songs “America, The Beautiful” and “The Star-Spangled Banner” with more emotion than Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, and the Sandy Hook Elementary School Choir, combined.
